Our Story & Mission
Shutify began as an open-source development project, created in response to the growing amount of intrusive digital advertising on mobile devices.
Digital advertisements have evolved from static banners into invasive media loaders that consume battery life, tracking logs, and cellular data. Our mission is to return control of mobile operating systems and displays to device owners.
By leveraging Android's dynamic runtime, Shutify allows users to load official, verified apps from standard application stores while selectively blocking intrusive ad networks at runtime.
Open Source
The code is fully transparent, allowing anyone to inspect class hooks, verify safety parameters, and submit improvements.
User Centric
We focus entirely on the listener experience, skipping commercial breaks and telemetry tracking to keep your playback smooth.
Safe Execution
Operating locally in-memory, we do not access user keys, credentials, or remote authentication databases.
