Rooting your Android device with system managers is not always desirable due to security policies or corporate lockouts. Fortunately, non-rooted users can utilize cloner tools. These tools pack module hooks directly into the target APK file, creating a self-signed package that runs in its own sandbox.

File Requirements

Before beginning, download the latest version of cloner tools, obtain a compatible official base APK of the music application, and download the latest Shutify manager APK from the portal.

Patching Steps

Open the cloner, select Manage, and tap the add button. Choose Select APK and load your application installer. Select Embed module and choose Shutify. Select Portable Mode to ensure the output APK contains the hooking libraries locally, then tap Start Patching.

Common Installation Errors

Ensure you uninstall any existing music client on your phone before running the patched installer, or Android will reject the installation due to signature mismatches.

Is sandboxed cloning as fast as root modules?

Cloned apps run in the application sandbox. Performance is identical, though startup time may be slightly longer.

Can I receive play store updates?

No. Since the APK signature is modified, Play Store updates will fail. You must re-patch new app releases manually.
